Joshua Baker, assistant professor of rheumatology, received a $50,000 research grant from the Glenn Foundation for Medical Research and the American Federation for Aging Research to study age and obesity-related changes in skeletal muscle energy production and fat distribution, and associations with joint inflammation and cartilage break down in osteoarthritis.
