Faculty
Conversations:
Academic Life and the Academic Job Search
A
series for Doctoral Students and Postdocs, co-sponsored by Career
Services and the Deputy Provost, will be held from noon-1 p.m.
at the Graduate Student Center. This series features topics of
interest to doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows who are
or will be looking for academic jobs and want to know what it's
like to be a faculty member. Speakers are faculty members from
Penn and sometimes other institutions. This is the sixth year
this series has been offered. Students on or planning to go on
the academic job market have found the faculty speakers' remarks
and the question/discussion period following to be very helpful.
We are very pleased to have them held in the new Graduate Student
Center this spring.
