About the Crime Report: Below are the Crimes Against Persons and/or Crimes Against Property from the campus report for December 15-21, 2025. The Crime Reports are available at: https://almanac.upenn.edu/sections/crimes. Prior weeks’ reports are also online. –Eds.

This summary is prepared by the Division of Public Safety (DPS) and contains all criminal incidents reported and made known to the Penn Police, including those reported to the Philadelphia Police Department (PPD) that occurred within our patrol zone, for the dates of December 15-21, 2025. The Penn Police actively patrol from Market Street to Baltimore Avenue and from 30th Street to 43rd Street in conjunction with the Philadelphia Police.

  • Download the Penn Guardian App which can help Police better find your location when you call in an emergency.
  • Access free self-empowerment and defense courses through Penn DPS.
  • Stay alert and reduce distractions; using cellphones, ear buds, etc. may limit your awareness.
  • Orient yourself to your surroundings. (Identify your location, nearby exits, etc.)
  • Keep your valuables out of sight and only carry necessary documents.
