Saar I. Gill, assistant professor of hematology-oncology at Penn’s Perelman School of Medicine and a member of the Abramson Cancer Center, received The Mark Foundation’s inaugural Emerging Leader Awards. Dr. Gill is one of eight recipients of the award, which includes a grant and recognizes promising early career scientists for projects aimed at improving cancer risk prediction, prevention, detection and treatment. Dr. Gill’s project is titled, “Commoditizing Adoptive Cell Therapy: Towards in Vivo CAR T-Cell Manufacturing.”
