Effective November 2, 2020, PennBus West has resumed its normal route. Pending the opening of the ACME Market at 40th and Walnut Streets, the service had been modified to provide access to nearby grocery shopping. Now that the ACME Market is open, the bus once again travels along 40th Street after making a left turn from Walnut Street. At the intersection of 40th and Spruce Streets, the bus turns right onto Spruce Street, then continues onward for the remainder of its scheduled stops. Additionally, service has been restored at the Schattner Building Transit Stop. Riders may learn more about the route by viewing this map.

Passengers can use the free PennRides on Request mobile app to monitor transit vehicles traveling fixed routes such as PennBus West by accessing PennRides en Route.
