Quillworking, the art of using the processed and dyed quills
of the porcupine to decorate clothing and other items, is an
artistic technique used by Native Americans. |
| One of
three rare bronze reproductions of 2,000-year-old gold artifacts
from Afghanistan, buried at the site of the Tillya Tepe. The
cast is 2-1/2 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches high. The reproductions
and molds were recently loaned to the Museum. |
