Dual Honors to Dr. Luborsky
Dr. Lester Luborsky, professor of psychology in psychiatry at the
School of Medicine, has been singled out for prizes this year and next:
the American Psychological Association's 1995 award for "Distinguished
Professional Contributions to Knowledge" and the American
Psychopathological Association's Hoch Award for 1996. Both are given in
recognition of his research in psychotherapy and psychosomatic medicine,
where he is noted especially for contributions to making operational
measures of clinical concepts.
