Noam Lior, professor of mechanical engineering & applied mechanics in Penn’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, was named a full member of the Club of Rome. The Club of Rome is an interdisciplinary, international think tank dedicated to sustainability issues. Full members have voting privileges and contribute to the Club of Rome’s initiatives. Dr. Lior was elected to the Club of Rome in 2013 (Almanac March 26, 2013).
