Experience both traditional and modern Native American culture right on Penn’s campus. The Grand Entry begins at 11 a.m. with the Welcome Address followed by the Exhibition Dancing, which starts at noon. The Natives at Penn Honoring Ceremony will take place at 2 p.m., and the Second Round of Exhibition Dancing will take place at 4:15 p.m. and end with a Closing Song at 5 p.m. This year’s Host Drum is Medicine Horse Singers, the Co-host Drum is Storm Boyz, the Head Man Dancer is Duncan Munson and the Head Lady Dance is Cinnamon Spear.

On March 28, the day before the Powwow, join Natives at Penn and Greenfield Intercultural Center in welcoming Cinnamon Spear (this year’s Head Female Dancer) as she presents her film Pride & Basketball for screening and discussion. The film will be shown at WEB Du Bois College House at 6 p.m.
