Mrs. Richardson, Provost’s Office
Mrs. Elizabeth C. Richardson, a retired staff member from the Wharton School and the Provost’s Office, passed away November 17 at age 87.
Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Richardson was a graduate of Springfield High School.
Beginning in the 1970s, Mrs. Richardson served as a secretary to the associate deans of the Wharton School and in 1982 she was promoted to an executive secretary position in the Provost’s Office. She retired in 1989.
She is survived by three sons, Edward T. Richardson, Jr. (FA’74, GFA’75), John F. Richardson (C’79), Alan W. Richardson (C’81, GEd’82); a daughter, Cheryl L. Richardson; a brother, Walter “Wally” Fredricks; and a grandson, Edward T. Richardson III.
