Almanac Web

Almanac, on the web at www.upenn.edu/almanac, is a gateway to essential resources at Penn and off-campus for Penn faculty and staff. For a guided tour of Almanac’s home page see below.

Browsers such as Firefox and Internet Explorer allow users to have more than one homepage by adding an additional tab. Add Almanac’s website to an existing homepage by opening your browser, selecting “File,” “New Tab,” and entering www.upenn.edu/almanac, and then selecting “use current pages” under the homepage section of Firefox preferences and under “Tools,” “Internet Options” in IE.

Making Almanac your homepage is a great way to stay informed and gives you instant access to other on- and off-campus resources, such as the Penn directory, U@Penn and local and national news outlets.

Be sure to add Almanac’s RSS feed to your favorite aggregator, or subscribe to the Express Almanac to receive an email each week when the issue is published, or in the event of breaking news. See the top right-hand corner of Almanac’s website for more information.

We are open to suggestions for ways that Almanac’s website can better serve the Penn community. Please email your comments to: almanac@upenn.edu.
