The University Club at Penn celebrates the 2010 Winter Olympics with ten days of special lunch menus—each day featuring the foods of a different country participating in the Olympic Games. Starting on Monday, February 15, foods of the host country—Canada—will be featured, including yellow pea soup; French onion soup with Gruyere croutons; Shepard’s Pie, salmon with maple bacon glaze; braised greens; Poutine (French fries with gravy); spinach salad with almonds, dried cranberries, goat cheese and maple balsamic dressing; and smoked turkey and Swiss on rye with coleslaw.
