The Penn Genome Frontiers Institute (PGFI) offers free professional development workshops that provide training in laboratory techniques to University of Pennsylvania faculty, postdocs, and graduate students.

Applications are being accepted until noon on September 21, 2009 for the PGFI Educational Facility’s Advanced Techniques: Single Cell Manipulations Using Laser Capture Microdissection workshops (October 19-22, 2009). In these Advanced workshops, participants will get hands-on experience with manipulation of single cells using the Leica LMD system.
