State of the News Discussed During Dan Rather Program |

The Annenberg School for Communication was the site for an installment of Dan Rather Reports, the HDNet cable television show hosted by television newsman Dan Rather. In this segment, which was videotaped July 18 in the Annenberg School, host Dan Rather moderated a conversation with guests on the future of network news broadcasts. The audience comprised Annenberg faculty, students, staff and alumni.
Panelists (left to right) Dr. Diana Mutz, the Samuel A. Stauffer Professor of Communication and Political Science; Dr. Michael X. Delli Carpini, the Walter H. Annenberg Dean of the Annenberg School for Communication; and Ted Koppel, former ABC “Nightline” host and current commentator for PBS, spoke with the host, Dan Rather.
