Interim Vice President for Finance and Treasurer: Frank Claus

Frank Claus, the associate vice president for finance in Student Financial and Registration Services, has agreed to serve as the interim vice president for finance and treasurer, EVP Craig Carnaroli announced.

“Frank currently has responsibility for operational services related to student finances including financial aid, payment option programs, billing, loan processing and a counseling center. Frank has successfully coordinated all aspects of student finance in one office which enables Penn to provide the best possible solutions and service to students and their families. In 2003, he successfully integrated the Office of the Registrar to create the combined Student Financial and Registration Services office that exists today (Almanac November 3, 1998).”

Mr. Claus previously served as Treasurer of the University from 1984 to  1988.  He joined Penn in 1984 following a successful career in commercial banking.

“I am very grateful and appreciative of Frank’s willingness to serve in this important capacity, “Mr. Carnaroli added. Mr. Claus assumed his interim management responsibilities August 1, 2007.
