Law Review Symposium

Penn Law Review invites all interested scholars, practitioners, and students to attend this year’s symposium, The Chief Justice and the Institutional Judiciary, November 10-11 at the Levy Conference Center.

Participants will examine the distribution and exercise of authority within the Article III judiciary, with a primary, but not exclusive, focus on the unique role of the Chief Justice in that institution. The conference will also feature contributions that examine the Chief Justice of the United States as a major constitutional office along a number of dimensions: doctrinal, extrajudicial, historical, and comparative. In addition to several law professor participants, a number of political scientists and legal historians will offer their perspectives on this subject.

For more information and to register see www.pennlawreview.com/symposium.php.
