RAD for Women

The Division of Public Safety, with the support of the Trustees’ Council of Penn Women, presents Rape Aggression Defense (RAD): A Physical Defense Program for Women. The course is free to Penn students, staff and faculty women.

RAD offers the following:

• A comprehensive Reference Manual

• No-nonsense, practical techniques of defense

• Realistic and dynamic hands on training and simulation

• A lifetime free return and practice policy

Class Schedule for Spring 2005:

Thursdays: Jan. 27, Feb. 3, 10, 17; 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Saturdays: Jan. 29, Feb. 5; 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Tuesdays: Feb. 8, 15, 22, March 1; 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Saturdays: Feb. 19, 26; 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Mondays: March 21, 28, April 4, 11; 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Saturdays: April 2, 9; 9 a.m.-3 p.m.   

All classes are held at Penn Police Headquarters, 4040 Chestnut Street. Pre-registration is required.
