The
School
of Design has awarded the 2004 G. Holmes Perkins
Award for Distinguished
Teaching to Dr. William Braham, associate professor
of architecture. The School of Design will acknowledge
him for his teaching contributions at award ceremony
on May 16.
He
teaches both design studios and technology courses,
undergraduate and graduate
students, and supervises doctoral students. Students
have cited his patient and dedicated instruction; his
sensitivity to differences in students' abilities;
generosity with his time; and insightful and helpful
criticism. He has had the opportunity to further assist
students in his role as associate chairman of the department
of architecture.
