Mr. Horwich: Federal Relations

Lloyd Horwich has been named the new Director of Federal Relations. He comes to Penn from the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions, where he served as Education Counsel--Senator Christopher Dodd's senior staff member on education issues. Mr. Horwich earned a masters degree in public affairs and administration from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He received his law degree from Boston University, and a B.S. in foreign service from Georgetown.

Melissa Peerless will be leaving Penn on August 1. She has served as Associate Director of Federal Relations since August 1999.
