GlaxoSmithKline's $10 Million Grant: Supporting Academic Research GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and the School of Medicine announced on March 6 that GSK has provided Penn with an unrestricted grant of $10 million to support academic research.
Creation of Position: Vice Provost for Strategic Initiatives Provost Robert Barchi has announced the creation of a new Vice Provost for Strategic Initiatives position. The search for the position, which will report directly to the Provost, will begin immediately.
