Dean of Dental Medicine: Marjorie Jeffcoat
Dr. Marjorie K. Jeffcoat, award-winning dental
researcher, professor and administrator at the University
of Alabama School of Dentistry, has been named dean of the
School of Dental Medicine, President Judith Rodin announced.
Dr. Jeffcoat will assume her new role this summer.

Each
year since 1984, the SAS Dean's Forum has presented leading
intellectual figures who exemplify the liberal arts tradition.
Dean Samuel H. Preston has announced that this year's Forum
will feature author David McCullough as he discusses the Qualities
of Leadership on Tuesday, February 18.
