Young American: Anthony Mazzarelli
Dr.
Anthony Mazzarelli, a law
and bioethics graduate student, has been named one of this year's
ten Outstanding Young Americans. Dr. Mazzarelli, earned his M.D.
from the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. The Outstanding Young
American Award is given by the U. S. Junior Chamber. Among his many
accomplishments Dr. Mazzarelli founded the Healthcare Outreach Project
in Camden, N.J., a student-run clinic that enables residents without
medical insurance to receive good primary medical care. Dr. Mazzarelli
plans to eventually become a health policymaker.
