Observing MLK Holiday

The University will observe Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Birthday on Monday, January 21, 2002 as a holiday. We encourage University employees and their families to participate in the many University sponsored activities scheduled to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Birthday.

Jim Lehrer, an award-winning journalist from PBS, will deliver the commencement address at Penn on May 13.
