This series features topics of interest to doctoral students concerning
looking for academic jobs and being an academic. Speakers are faculty from
Penn and other institutions. This is the fourth year it has been offered.
"Students on or planning to go on the academic job market have found
the speakers' remarks and the question/discussion period following to be
very helpful," said Julie Vick, of Career Services. The series is co-sponsored
by Career Services and the Deputy Provost. Sessions are noon-1 p.m.
