ISC Computer Classes for Penn Community

The Office of Information Systems and Computing, Technology Training Group offers computer classes to the Penn, CHOP and HUP community. All classes are held at Sansom Place West /3650 Chestnut Street, 2nd floor.

Registration is required for all hands-on classes. Individuals must register themselves by calling (215) 573-3102 (no third party registration). Call now to register for February 2000 classes. Payment is required for all classes. All prerequisites must be satisfied before registering for any classes.

University Laboratory Animal Resources Training

University Laboratory Animal Resources announces the following upcoming Education and Training opportunities for Penn faculty/staff.

March 2, 2000: The Jackson Laboratory Seminars: Special Topics for Breeding, Raising & Maintaining Genetically Engineered Mice. Registration required by February 28 to kedgar@pobox.upenn.edu.

  • 1 p.m.: Slide Tour of the Jackson Laboratory presented by Barbara Witham, TJL Field Development.
  • 2 p.m.: Genetically Engineered Mouse Models: Considerations and Ramifications for Their Use; Carol Cutler Linder, Senior Technical Information Scientist.
