Genomics Task Force

The Provost has recently formed a task force of faculty to develop a proposal for a program that will significantly advance and coordinate genomics research at Penn. The field of genomics--the study of genes and their function--represents a new, dynamic development within biological research involving the collaboration of scholars in multiple disciplines. Many faculty at Penn are already pursuing genomics research in a variety of areas. Task force members include representatives from the Schools of Medicine, Engineering & Applied Science, Arts & Sciences, and Veterinary Medicine.Ralph Amado (chair), Vice Provost for Research; Professor, Physics
