PFSNI: Noon October 21Penn Faculty and Staff for Neighborhood Issues (PFSNI) will hold a lunchtime meeting on October 21, at noon in the History Department Lounge, 329A, 3401 Walnut Street. If you are concerned about West Philadelphia, its schools, parks, housing, stores, and streetscape, come and share your views with your neighbors. As the transformations triggered by Penn's new investments intensify, it is time to speak out and think again about how we ought to be represented and involved. The listserver, while effective, can't substitute for a face-to-face discussion of current conditions and future prospects in our neighborhood. --Lynn H. Lees, Professor of History; Chair of PFSNI AWFA: October 21The Association of Women Faculty & Administrators at the University of Pennsylvania will hold our Fall Reception Thursday, October 21, 4-6 p.m., at The Faculty Club at the Inn at Penn, Sansom Common, 3600 Walnut Street.
