This spring a Turner Original Productions
crew spent eight weeks at VHUP, Penn's
small animal hospital in Philadelphia,
and at New Bolton Center, the School's
large animal facility in Chester County.
Following doctors, nurses, students, and
four-legged patients, they documented
sophisticated veterinary care--
both emergency and regular--and
evoked on film the mutual devotion
of humans and their pets.
