ALMANAC BETWEEN ISSUES September 11, 2001 Tabernacle open for prayer/meditation The bombings of this
morning at the World Trade Centers and the Pentagon are leaving a lot
of us stunned, shocked, angry, upset, fearful.... you name it. Tabernacle
United Church, between the Iron Gate Theater and Gimbel Gym, on S. 37th
Street between Chestnut and Sansom Streets-- Tab will have its doors open
today, at least until 2 p.m. for you and for any who wish to stop in for
meditation/ prayer/ contemplation it sanctuary--Christian, Jewish, Muslim,
Buddhist, Hindu --and I know I'm not naming everyone--but everyone is
welcome to join in prayer and support and meditation at Tabernacle. If
there seems to be need or desire, we'll work with that and send out further
word if other arrangements seem appropriate. May we
