Yvette Steward of 4900 Reno Street was arrested about 9 p.m. Thursday, November 21, and Bridget Black of 5100 Reno Street was arrested about 11:30 p.m., Penn Director of Police Operations Maureen Rush reported.
Ms. Rush said her information came from Investigators Bill Danks and Pat Brennan„two of the Penn Police team cooperating closely with the Philadelphia Police in following up leads and tips which began to flow when photographs taken at an ATM machine were published in newspapers and on television.
Both of the women suspects were reported last night to be giving confessions to Philadelphia Police , and are to be charged, along with Eugene Harrison, with murder, robbery, theft, receiving stolen property, possession of instrument of crime, conspiracy, aggravated assault, simple assault, and reckless endangering of another person.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for November 27 at the Criminal Justice Center.
