Under the sponsorship of the William Penn Foundation, the University of Pennsylvania research team performed a study of transportation conditions in the Philadelphia Region and prepared specific proposals for improving the transportation system. Directed by Professor Vukan R. Vuchic, the study had an advisory Committee of experts and two Technical Committees for the project. This report represents the results of extensive analyses, discussions and recommendations reached through the course of this study. The report presentation and distribution will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, 1999, on the University of Pennsylvania campus, in room 337 of the Towne Building.
