College Search Seminar: August 31
Sponsored by Penn Admissions for Penn Staff and Faculty Families
Do you have a child entering his or her senior year of high school?
Do you want a better understanding of how colleges review applications?
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions wants to help Penn faculty and staff navigate the college admissions process, whether their children plan to apply to Penn or elsewhere.
Penn families are invited to join Admissions in their first annual Admissions Case Studies Program. Students and parents will read and review mock applications and participate in an admissions committee led by an admissions officer.
Regardless of where the high school students are planning to apply, this exercise will put them in the shoes of an admissions officer while exposing them to the complexities of the admissions process.
Students and parents are invited to join the Admissions staff:
Tuesday, August 31
4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Irvine Auditorium, 3401 Spruce Street
Note: This event date has been changed from September 14 to August 31.
Please RSVP by Friday, August 27 at www.admissions.upenn.edu/seminars.
Walk-In Admissions Counseling
Admissions will also host walk-in admissions counseling for staff and faculty during the last Thursday of each month, from noon to 2 p.m. in Houston Hall.
